Free tool · LinkedIn Network Report

Your network already knows your next client. Go and find them.

LinkedIn shows you a feed. Your data export shows you the truth: who you actually know, and who you've let go quiet. Drop one file in and see it.

Decision-makers already in your list Gone quiet spoke before, then nothing Your next client somewhere in here, unmet Read in your browser · nothing uploaded
With thanks

The idea behind this came from Logan Currie, who worked out how much your own LinkedIn export can tell you and published the whole method. She has more ways to use your data, with the exact prompts, on her page on LinkedIn Data Visualisations. Thanks, Logan.

How it works

One file. About a minute.

1

Ask LinkedIn for your data

The basic export. The first file usually lands in your inbox within minutes, and it has everything this report reads.

2

Drop the zip straight in

No unzipping needed. It's read on your device, in your browser. Your contacts and messages are never sent anywhere, including to us.

3

Tell it what you're after

Finding clients in a niche, waking up old relationships, or growing your audience. The report grades your contacts around your goal.

Get your file

Get your LinkedIn export

Two ways to do this. Basic gets you a working report in minutes. Complete takes a day or two and also unlocks the two extra visualisations further down. Either file drops straight into the tool.

  1. On LinkedIn (desktop is easiest), click your photo, then Settings & Privacy.
  2. Open Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data.
  3. Choose Download larger data archive and click Request archive. This starts both files off; the fast one comes first.
  4. Within minutes, LinkedIn emails you the first file, named Basic_LinkedInDataExport…zip. That's the one this report runs on.
  5. Drop that whole zip into the tool below. No need to unzip it.
The basic file already includes your connections, messages and invitations, which is everything this report uses. If you only ever ticked "Connections" before, that file works too; you'll just get the connections parts.

Drop your file in and see what's there

The report below shows example data so you can see the shape of it. Drop your own export on it and it swaps in your numbers. Pick a goal first if you know what you're after.

When you were building your network

Connections added each year. Quiet years are where a reconnection push pays off.

Your warm-intro map

The companies where you know the most people. Clusters like these are where warm introductions come from.

Connections vs real relationships

Matched against your message history: how many connections you've actually spoken to, and how recently.

Do people find you, or do you chase them?

From your invitation history: connection requests you received vs requests you sent.

Who you're connected to

A rough split by seniority, read from job titles. The decision-maker slice is your real addressable list.

Reconnect with these first

Graded around your goal: seniority, how warm the relationship is, how well they match your niche, and how long they've been quiet. People you're already talking to are left out.

What this says

No file needed · Works for you or your company

    The two-prompt AI visibility check

The report above needs your LinkedIn export. This half needs nothing. Open ChatGPT (or any AI assistant), run these two prompts, and read what comes back. It works whether you want you found or your company found.

    Prompt 1 · The shortlist

I'm looking for someone who does [what you do] in [your area]. Who should I use? Name specific people, not general advice.

    Prompt 2 · The look-up

What can you tell me about [your name]? Include what they do, fees if known, and where your information comes from.

Not in the first answer? Second answer thin, or wrong? That's the gap. The answer an AI gives is assembled from your site, your reviews, your directory profiles and your LinkedIn — and the audit works out which of those inputs is broken.

    If it helped

This one's free. Pass it on.

No charge for this, now or later. If it turned up someone worth a call, the nicest way to say thanks is to pass it on to someone who'd get something out of it.

    If it helped, share it.

A share is worth a lot to us. Send it to someone with a network they're not using.

Next step · Getting you found

Want this turned into a plan?

The report just showed you how long your network has been quiet. When a JV partner, a client or a mentor checks you out — by hand, or by asking an AI assistant — there should be substance there, and it should say what you want it to say. The personal AI Visibility Audit shows what comes back today, then hands you the plan: profile, posting, and AI search. Fixed fee, £250–£500.

Next step · Getting your company found

Want this turned into a plan?

When a landlord, a seller or a partner asks an AI assistant who to use, the answer is assembled from your site, your reviews, your directory profiles and your LinkedIn. You've probably never checked what it says. LinkedIn is where you start, because you control it and can move it this week — it's one of six or seven inputs, and finding which are broken is the audit. Detailed tier £1,500–£2,500 fixed, then a retainer only if you want the fixes delivered.
