AI implementation services

AI implementation for small businesses: review, build, support

We're AI implementation consultants. We find where your business leaks time and enquiries, build the system that stops it and keep it running. You deal with the founder from first call to handover.

For owner-led businesses and SMEs of 2 to 50 staff, London based and in person across the South East and the Midlands, remote across the UK. It starts with a £350 review, credited against a build within 30 days. The next step is a 20-minute call.

What it means

What AI implementation means here

AI implementation is finding the one or two places where AI changes your week, building that into a system you own, and making it stick. It is not a strategy deck and it is not a set of software licences.

What it is

  • A timed look at how you handle an enquiry today, from the moment it lands to the moment someone replies, with the leaks written down, alongside a short check of what AI says about you when enquiries start online.
  • One system, built for you, on hosting in your company's name, with your enquiries in it before you pay the second half.
  • Someone who keeps it running after handover, so it is still in use in six months.

What it is not

  • A 40-page report on the future of AI in your sector. You would not read it and we would not enjoy writing it.
  • A chatbot on the website as the answer to every problem. Sometimes it is one of the answers. Usually it is not the first.

Three steps

Three steps, one engagement

Each step stands on its own and each one pays for the next. You can stop after any of them with something useful in hand.

1

Step 1. The review, £350

Credited against a build

90 minutes with you and whoever answers your enquiries.

  • A timed test first. We send an enquiry the way a customer would and time what happens: who sees it, how fast they reply, and whether it gets recorded.
  • Your week, walked through. Where enquiries land, how follow-up, bookings and invoice chasing work, what you pay for and what you actually use.
  • A two-page plan in three working days. The three leaks that cost you most, and what we would build first, what it costs and what it replaces.
  • A straight answer. If nothing is worth building yet, the plan says so.

The £350 is credited against a build that starts within 30 days. Three reviews a month at this rate.

2

Step 2. Implementation

10 working days Hosting in your name £2,200 launch rate, £2,950 standard

Something running, not something recommended. The usual first build is a small business AI CRM:

  • Every enquiry in one list, whichever way it arrived
  • Follow-up that sends itself
  • Bookings against your real calendar
  • Invoice tracking linked to Xero
  • A weekly report with your pipeline number

Other builds by scope: a quoting tool for a trade, an intake form for a clinic, a candidate and client record for a recruitment agency.

  • Days 1 to 4: we collect logins, brand assets and your current data.
  • Day 5: it is running on your domain with your own enquiries in it, before the second half of the fee is due.
  • Days 6 to 10: three short handover sessions, a written runbook, and every login in your company's name. If Fidesq stopped trading, nothing would change for you.

Half on booking, half at handover. The launch rate is for three builds a month.

3

Step 3. Support

£249 a month · cancel any time

A system nobody watches drifts. The care plan covers:

  • Monitoring, so we know it is down before you do
  • Software updates that keep it secure
  • One change a month
  • A monthly report: enquiries in, follow-ups sent, bookings made, invoices chased

No minimum term.

One team

AI consulting, implementation and support, from one team

The three steps are one engagement because the failures happen in the gaps between them. A strategy consultant hands a plan to a developer who has never met the business. The developer hands over a system and disappears, so the first thing that breaks in month three has nobody to fix it. Every handover loses something, and every one of them is a second invoice.

Here the people who found the leak build the fix and watch it run. When something goes wrong in month three, you ring the people who built it, not a helpdesk. It is also cheaper, because there are no handovers to pay for.

Fit

Who it's for, who it's not

We would rather say no on the 20-minute call than run a review that leads nowhere.

A good fit

  • Owner-led businesses of 2 to 50 staff, mostly service businesses: consultancies, agencies, recruitment firms, trades, clinics and practices.
  • Enquiries that land in inboxes, bookings that happen by email, and an owner who answers everything personally.
  • Three or more tools you pay for monthly that do not talk to each other, and no one whose job it is to make them.
  • A willingness to own the result: the hosting account, the code and the data sit in your name from handover.

Not a fit

  • Enterprises and anything over about 50 staff. Procurement, permissions and audit trails change the right answer, and so does the right consultant.
  • Telephony and SMS at scale. Call centres and dialler-led sales teams need a dedicated platform, not a built system.
  • A business that wants a vendor to blame. You own this system. That is the point, and it cuts both ways.

Consultants for AI implementation

Consultants for AI implementation: how to choose one

Ask any consultant, including us, these four questions before you sign anything. The answers tell you more than the case studies.

01

Do they build, or only advise?

A consultant who only advises has no stake in whether the plan works. Ask to see something they built that is still running, and ask who runs it now. Our answer: we build, and the Projects page shows what.

02

Who owns the code?

If the answer is the consultant, the platform or "it's complicated", you are renting. Ask whose name is on the hosting account and whether you could leave with everything tomorrow. Our answer: yours, from handover, with the logins.

03

What happens after handover?

Systems drift when nobody watches them. Ask what support costs, what it covers, and whether you can cancel. Our answer: a care plan at £249 a month, one change a month included, no minimum term.

04

What does a review cost?

A free review is a sales call. A £5,000 review is a report. Ask what the first paid step is and what you get for it. Our answer: £350, 90 minutes, a timed test of your enquiry handling and a two-page plan, credited against a build.

Where

An AI implementation consultant in London

We are based in London. The review runs in person across London, the South East and the Midlands, and the build itself happens wherever we are, with you seeing it on your own domain by day five. For businesses elsewhere in the UK the review runs remotely and the rest of the engagement is the same. Any travel is agreed before booking.

FAQ

Questions owners ask an AI implementation consultant

How long does AI implementation take?
Ten working days from go-ahead to a system running in your name, after a review that takes 90 minutes and a plan that arrives within three working days. The clock pauses only for delays outside our control, such as missing logins, and we tell you the same day it happens.
What does an AI implementation consultant cost?
Here, £350 for the review, £2,200 for a build at the launch rate (£2,950 standard) and £249 a month for support. The price buys a running system on hosting in your own name, not a number of days.
Do I need my own developer?
No. We build the system and hand it over with a written runbook and the logins. You keep access to your own code through the same tools we build with, so small changes are a request rather than a developer quote, and the care plan covers one change a month if you would rather hand it to us.
Can you work with the tools we already pay for?
Yes, where they earn their place. The review lists what you pay for and what you use, and the plan says what the build replaces and what it connects to. Xero, Google Calendar, Outlook and your existing website usually stay. A CRM you pay per seat for and rarely open usually goes.
What if the review finds nothing worth building?
Then the two-page plan says so, and you have spent £350 to learn that the time and enquiries you are losing are not worth £2,200 to fix yet. That happens. You keep the timed test, the list of leaks and the plan, and we will usually name the one cheap change worth making anyway.
